The „SRBIJA 2018” consequence management exercise, organised by NATO’s Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC) is taking place from 8 to 11 October  in Serbia.
The aim of the civil exercise is to strengthen international cooperation in order to to jointly eliminate the consequences of disasters/emergencies.

Civil and military response teams and exercise staff from 35 Allied and Partner countries participate in the exercise. The HUNOR provides altogether 10 tons of equipment, 38 pallets of tools, 9 vehicles, 2 trailers and 2 quads for the exercise. The leader of the HUNOR was delegated into the commanding exercise staff.
The Hungarian authorities ensured the facilitation of the border crossing procedures and provided escort assistance for the transiting teams on their way to Serbia.
The exercise contributes to the framing of the NATO-Serbian cooperation and to the deepening of the Hungarian-Serbian good neighbourly relations.
