NATO Foreign Ministers' meeting, Riga

Ministers of Foreign Affairs met on 30 November - 1 December 2021. in Riga. Ministers discussed the Alliance's next Strategic Concept, Russia's military buildup near Ukraine, lessons learned from the Alliance's engagement in Afghanistan. On the second day of the meeting Ministers exchanged viewed with Mr. Zalkaliani, Foreign Minister of Georgia and Dmytro Kuleba, Foreign Minister of Ukraine on the security of the region. At their closing meeting Ministers met with Josep Borrell EU HR/VP and NATO's closest partners, Finland and Sweden.
